BLUES IMAGES (CAL2010)

It's that time of year again! And about time too! The Blues Images Classic Blues Artwork Calendar for 2010 is in, and believe me, it's yet another blaster!

The front cover features the artwork for The Black Billy Sunday's This Old World Is In A Hell Of A Fix. How apt. Thank goodness we've got this new calendar to help us through next year!

Artists featured on the vintage adverts that adorn the twelve months of this calendar are Robert Wilkins, Charley Patton, Skip James, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Ida Cox, The Mississippi Sheiks, Charley Turner and Winston Holmes, Ma Rainey, Blind Blake, Papa Charlie Jackson, Ramblin' Thomas and The Black Billy Sunday and they're all featured on the 18 track CD that you get free of charge. There are six extra bonus tracks too: two previously unreleased gospel takes of Ain't Gonna Lay My ‘Ligion Down from harmonica player Frank Palmes, two test takes of Married Man Blues by Irene Scruggs with Blind Blake and newly remastered transfers of the only known copy of Henry Townsend's two Paramount sides Doctor Oh Doctor and Jack O'Diamonds.

Order your copy now - how can you resist it?
